Breakdown: The Marvel Studio Logo Effect Deconstructed

Hi everyone! Corey here with a new tutorial where we take a look at designs or effects that we have all seen in various media and break them down in Photoshop. This week we are taking a look at the Marvel Studios logo treatment. It is a rather simple effect that we will achieve using 3D on Photoshop CC. We will even add some simple motion graphic elements in the end as well. Check it out!

VERY cool, Corey. These re-creation tutorials have really opened my eyes to the possibilities (or really, the lack of impossibilities!) in Photoshop. I am convinced that if you can think of it, you can Photoshop it, and your instruction has provided so much insight for my personal work. I recreated the Bioshock: Infinite game logo a while back to test what I’ve learned and it was one of the most fun exercises! Google that one if you’re not familiar with the game. It’s really beautiful with all sorts of texture and distress and subtle pattern. Thank you so much for the great work! I can’t wait to see what you do next! <3
