Wow! Great Tutorial!
Thank you! I tried to do this recently on a hat and I forgot that the map needs to be greyscale – so thanks for filling that gap – and – I remember somewhere seeing the blending options tip used for something else but again I was recently trying to remember and use that technique – so it is very fortuitous for me that you show it here. Thanks again! Hopefully I can finally retain this information. One thing that is kind of a bummer is that you can’t preview your settings on the displacement effect – what happens if you don’t get what you’re looking for the first time – do you just have to reapply it guestimating as you go?

When I do a command click on the art layer and command j from the tshirt layer, nothing happens. When you demonstrate it, it copies the tshirt to the shape of the art object.
