The Wonderful Work of Holly Spring

My friend Beth McNabb turned me onto photographer Holly Spring over the weekend. A mother from Auckland, she uses her considerable skill in photography and post processing to make some wonderful pictures of her muse – her daughter. Her daughter suffers from Hirschsprung’s Disease and has no left hand, and these pictures really celebrate the whimsy of growing up and an incredible love a mother has for a daughter. Her work has won the 2014 NZIPP/Epson Iris Portrait Creative Photographer of the Year recently – and we send her a big congratulations for that!
