Navigating Your Way to a Perfect View

One way to zoom in for a close-up view of a design is to marquee across the document with the Zoom tool. But there is another little known way to use this “Marquee” zoom with the Navigator palette. Open the Navigator palette (Window > Navigator) if it’s not already open. Put the cursor over the palette and hold down the Command key (Control on PC). When the usual Navigator Hand tool turns into a Zoom tool, “Marquee” zoom to the perfect view.
