what about going from adobe PR on a PC to Adobe PR on a MAC?

How can mov or avi files be asked by premiere pro when opening avid projects, when avid creates mxf or omf files??? (when the media is captured with avid especially) Its wierd…. Does it work in those cases??
how about taking an edit, or Sequence from FCP to After Effects , and back?
