Photoshop CS5 Extended’s new 3D Repousse feature has some limitations when it comes to extruding selections within selections. Corey shows an example of this issue and then shares a workaround for solving the problem.

    As always an interesting tutorial, Corey!

    However, the option of Internal Constraints in the Repoussé Panel is greyed out, being unable to change settings.
    How can I activate these options?

    (When I do the Repoussé on a text layer, the Internal Constraints option does work!)
