Now we add the fill light to ensure good shadow detail. The fill light is positioned as close to the camera as possible. (Note: The fill light is not visible in the setup image.) The fill light is normally a larger light than the main light. Its purpose is to make a soft, shadowless light that won’t contradict the direction of the main light.
