Step Two

schmelzer_portrait_character_2To continue the outline of the subject, we placed a rim light vertically with a 40° fabric grid positioned at subject height and the opposite side of the hair light. This lights the side of the face, the shoulders, and the top of the hat. (The rim light is normally placed at face height.)
