Joe McNally- PMDA Photographer of the Year
Exciting happenings after CES last night! Our very own KelbyOne Instructor Joe McNally has been honored by PMDA (PhotoImaging Manufacturers and Distributors Association) as their 2015 Professional Photographer of the Year! Read more about PMDA and their other 2015 selections here.
If you’re wondering what PMDA is…. here’s a brief explanation of PMDA quoted directly from their site:
“Founded in 1939, PMDA has been contributing continuously to the progress and welfare of the photoimaging industry for 70 years with emphasis on the particular interests of photo imaging product manufacturers and distributors. PMDA provides a forum throughout the business year for its membership to exchange ideas and learn of new technologies and business trends in addition to administering programs that promote photography to the general public. Our monthly programs and symposiums feature leading photo and imaging product suppliers and retailers, as well as financial analysts and technical experts.”
PMDA is also involved with Portraits of Love (already in it’s sixth year), a great program where photographers give back to active military families around the globe by providing free family portraits to send to their active members.
