Some of my freelance is for a large international corporation with offices around the world. So it’s quite common that my work in Illustrator may need to be created in up to 15 languages. By Default, most Asian font names are displayed using Asian characters, not a big help for someone who only speaks Brooklyn English. So what could I do? Change the defaults! Press Command + K (Control + K on the PC) and in the Type section, select “Show Font Names in English” and click OK. Being able to at least read the font names in English, makes this hard job a little easier.
