Finding an Object Lost in Layers

In a complex design containing multiple layers and sub-layers, sometimes it can be difficult to find an individual object in the Layers palette. To quickly find this object’s exact level in the palette, select the object and in the Options flyout menu, choose Locate Object. Instantly the object is uncovered with a large selection square in the palette. Even if sub-layers are not showing in the palette, this command will open sub-layers to reveal the object’s position instantly.
