Professional Photographer, Nikon Ambassador, and KelbyOne instructor, Cliff Mautner has been BUSY! Earlier this month Cliff was featured as a CNN Tech Hero. Here’s an excerpt:

Making lasting memories

The most memorable and emotional event in many people’s lives is their wedding day. Nothing matches the anticipation, drama and sheer emotion of that very special occasion, when two people forge a sacred bond of love and trust in the presence of family and friends.

But all too soon, the day is over, leaving only warm and fuzzy memories. And while ties of love and affection grow in the following years, those memories fade with the passage of time.

That’s where Cliff Mautner, our 10th “Tech Hero,” comes in. He helps people preserve and cherish their precious recollections of their special day.

American Photo magazine rates Mautner as one of the 10 best wedding photographers in the world. He was named Wedding and Portrait Photographer’s “International Photographer of the Year” in 2012, received the International Photographic Council Leadership award from the United Nations in 2013, and has also received a Lifetime Achievement Award from Wedding and Portrait Photographer’s International.

“My goal is to produce images that stand the test of time. I want to make images that are just as relevant years from now as they are today. I’m really shooting to give my clients memories for the generations to come, not just for today. Even though I’ve shot 900 or so weddings, I still hope I’m going to make a picture that stands out.”
