New "Graphics Secrets for Business" Podcast Makes Using Graphics Easy for Business People
Sole proprietors and corporate managers of all levels create presentations and other business documents daily, and most have zero graphics
iStockphoto, the world’s leading community-powered marketplace for stock photography and illustrations, announced that it will sponsor a weekly podcast starting today. “Graphics Secrets for Business,” hosted by founder of GraphicReporter.com and iStockphoto chief evangelist, Lesa Snider King, will offer simple tips and tricks in 5-minute segments that will help even novice users effectively add images and multimedia to their documents. “Graphics Secrets for Business,” can be accessed at http://www.iStockphoto.com/Evangelesa or on the iTunes Store.
Lesa will also host an intensive two-day class on this topic, Jan. 8-9, 2007 at Macworld Expo in San Francisco.
“Sole proprietors and corporate managers of all levels create presentations and other business documents daily, and most have zero graphics training,” said King. “A picture really is worth a thousand words, and at iStockphoto, the perfect picture is finally affordable for every budget. My goal with this podcast is to help those who weren’t trained as graphic artists learn how to easily use stock imagery and multimedia to engage their audiences and communicate their messages successfully in a variety of ways, in a variety of business software.”
The first three topics slated for “Graphics Secrets for Business,” are:
Oct. 5, 2006: Adding Photos to Your Presentations. Learn how to insert and resize photos and objects in MS Powerpoint.
Oct. 12, 2006: Presentations with Motion. Learn how to incorporate a video clip into MS Powerpoint.
Oct. 19, 2006: Mastering Headers and Footers. Learn how to add your logo and company information to a multi-page MS Word document.
Lesa will also be going further in-depth on these topics in several sessions appropriate for small business owners at MacWorld Expo San Francisco Jan. 8-12, 2007. Those interested in attending should visit, http://www.macworldexpo.com for registration information.
