When a reflector is in a vertical position and the light hits it from the main light, it will reflect and bounce toward the floor. If we angle the bottom of the reflector up, we’ll see better results. Essentially, the main light and reflector should be parallel to each other. But the silver reflector is too much; it’s overfilling and making the shadows too bright and shiny. Let’s switch to a white reflector. Now we can see detail in the shadows without overfilling it.
