Now that we have our model and stands in place, I’ve chosen to attach a 3/4-stop diffusion fabric to the 72×72″ frame and place it between the subject and the sunlight, thus taming the sun without losing our shadow direction. (This size frame will allow us to shoot a closeup and full length.) Notice how the highlights and shadows on her face are not as harsh now.
