Here, I placed the background light over to the side of the subject and added a red gel to enhance the color of the red background. Then I added a 30º grid to throw the light more narrowly from a distance. Using the grid gives you a natural vignette around the edges of the subject and, by positioning the light off to the side, you can also photograph full length without the light showing up behind your model.
