The people over at Stanford University have recently created a program that takes bitmap graphics and converts them into vector illustrations for use in programs like Fireworks, Flash, and Illustrator. You can check these guys out over at the Vector Magic website.

Photoshop World is coming up pretty soon. Be sure that you are up on your registrations and bookings of hotels. Those things fill up pretty quick, so the earlier you get to it, the better. I’ve got two classes that will focus on working with websites in Dreamweaver, so that should be a good add-on for those of you looking into getting an introduction into web design. Hope to see you there.

We also have a couple of day tours that are coming to a city near you:

  • Dave Cross is over in San Antonio, TX on January 24
  • Ben Willmore is in our backyard, Tampa FL, on January 25
  • Bert Monroy is in Houston Texas, on February 15

For more information on this, be sure to check out the Kelby Training website. I’m definitely going to see if I can free myself up to go to Ben’s seminar on Friday. That should be a good one.

Finally, we have an oldie but goodie tutorial from Dave Cross – Quick Keyboard Shortcuts with Illustrator. 2 minutes.. you’re in.. you’re out, and you have one more tip in your bag of tricks- isn’t that what it’s all about? Have a great Tuesday everyone!

Share & Enjoy
