Hey everyone. Happy Monday. I’m out on the west coast for a couple days of meetings, but that shouldn’t stop us from talking about some of the cool things that have happened on the site recently, as well as some industry news.

If you haven’t checked out the Forums, I think you should. There are a lot of people getting together there to talk about all things Adobe, and recently we added Fireworks and Lightroom topics for people to message back and forth about those programs. Contest Time
I bet you’re wondering when we are going to send someone to Photoshop World, aren’t you? Well, this is the week to do it. Photoshop World is happening this September 4-6 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, and it’s a MUST if you are into Photoshop! Tell you what I’ll do – let’s have a contest. Go to the Contact Page and select the Layers BLOG drop down (it’s new… so make sure that it’s the one you select). In there, I want you to tell me what the difference between Photoshop CS3 and CS3 Extended is. The contest will be up until Thursday 5PM and the winner will be announced on Friday.
