This is very interesting.

Q: can this approach to create a stroke that is ‘expanded’ around the object? (Ex: your girl with the dashed line stroke. Could you produce a second stroke around the girl, maybe 10 pixels further outside the dashed stroke?)

I have seen a ‘radiating concentric circles’ effect (like rings of a bullseye), wondered if this could be done for irregularly shaped objects with this stroke method.
