terrible tutorial, no explanation of tools used for what purpose, just assumes the users knows. AWFUL for beginners.

Peter, you may be using Illustrator CS4, in which case, there is an option to “Ignore White” in the Live Trace settings box. So it could be that you have no white to select. If you think there is white, then select one shape with the Direct Selection tool (white arrow), then go up to the Select menu and choose “Same Fill Color.” Then hit Delete.

I cannot Select the whites with magic wand tool it just doesnt select only the black if i click on it !!!! Help

whatever to the people that said “too easy.” I think I’m somewhat intelligent, and there has to be something easier than this. This is for photoshop experts, not people trying to learn!
