bk_layersbook7d.jpgHappy Tuesday everyone. Wanted to start out on a positive note here. I just saw a review written by Karen B., one of our longtime readers. Karen went out and read Matt’s new Layers book and she’s given a chapter-by-chapter description of what you can find, and why it is compelling enough for you to check it out on your own.

Sometimes, the best feedback that you can get is from people like Karen – so let me be the first to thank you! Oh, and don’t worry Karen, you didn’t miss out. Send us your book and I’ll make sure to have Matt sign it. I’d have everyone else do so too, but it’s his book. :)

Illustrator to Photoshop
In keeping with our Matt theme for the day, Matt’s got a cool tutorial on how to create textures in Illustrator and move them into Photoshop. It’s short, sweet, and effective. Now, if I can just learn how to do those sweet half pipe jumps. Click on the link below to get to the tutorial.

Matt Kloskowski – Illustrator Brush Patterns in Photoshop

If you want to see more of Matt (and let’s face it- who doesn’t) be sure to visit him at Photoshop Killer Tips, Lightroom Killer Tips, and as usual – Photoshop User TV.

That’s it for today everyone. Have a great one, and we’ll see you guys back here tomorrow.

Share & Enjoy
