Good morning everyone! My coffee is a little low, but that doesn’t mean I’m walking over to the machine. Not until I talk to you about some things..

First off – if you haven’t paid a visit to Corey’s Planet Photoshop, you really need to head over there. The cool part about that site is that it’s nothing but tutorials. It’s just a great place to pop in and get something to put in your bag of tricks and go.

If you are a fan of Fireworks, you also need to go check out Alan Musselman’s Blog. Alan works for Fireworks Developer Relations, and is the host of a series of Jam Sessions. You can log on and check out what they are doing in the world of Fireworks, or ask questions, and be confident that you will get the answers straight from the source.

This magazine just plain rocks. The concept is very, very simple:

• You take a picture.
• You post it to their site (based on themes)
• Peers review it to get it to the final stages.
• Editors pick from the reviews.
• If you win, you get 100 bucks and a subscription.

This month, they posted a really cool photo essay on fanatics. From Stormtroopers to SCA’dians – the essay had people follow around someone really into something. I for one have always considered it a life mission to make friends with a superfan – you know.. one of those guys who does really crazy stuff like paint themselves all blue for a football game, or paint themselves like the Ultimate Warrior. I just think those people have.. how shall we say, a je ne sais quoi about them. My mission is going to be to get a picture up here for 2008. Maybe I’ll paint myself blue with a big white PS logo on my chest.. and if you don’t think I’d do it, well then you underestimate how much of a fool I can make of myself for the sake of costume.
