Well this is very, very exciting news indeed here. Adobe has now released the next wave of Photoshop goodness, Photoshop Express. What I like about Photoshop Express is that the concept is incredibly simple: You upload, you edit, you post.

When you sign up for Photoshop Express, they grant you 2GB of space for you to play around with. Uploading your images is pretty quick and easy, and in no time you are cropping, rotating, and editing with the greatest of ease. In a couple of steps, you’re up and running with your own spot on the website (I love the yourname.photoshop.com – oh how I wish I could have had rc.photoshop.com . argh! ) You can take those images and use them in Facebook, Myspace, (or whatever SocNet place you’re into) and you’re good to go.

So this is the deal – RUN to the Photoshop Express website and sign up so that you can get the good names before they run out!

Photoshop Express Techniques Online
Hosted by our own Matt Kloskowski, The Photoshop Express Techniques website is a place where you can see cool tutorials on how to take Photoshop Express to the next level. Be sure to stop by here immediately after you register, and see what’s possible. I’m actually going to spend the rest of my time playing with my Photoshop Express gallery and see if I can get some images up there.

OK. Let’s also leave you with a cool tutorial on video after the jump.

Richard Harrington – Toon Your Video
Video Guru extraordinaries Richard Harrington and Marcus Geduld have got a cool tutorial online about creating a cartoon look for video. All of the cartoon, none of the drawing experience. Sign me up for that.

That’s it for today. See you guys tomorrow morning with the week ending contest winner!

The “downer” for the Mac side is Flash 9.0.115 needs to be installed. This “latest version” is very buggy, creating instability in Safari. 9.0.47 is much more stable. Wish Adobe would “get it right” before venturing into new realms where they usually fumble the ball.

unfortunately the beta is accompanied by the dreaded three words: “United States only”

    … of course, US only.

    Looks neat, though.

    Hey Jay:

Check out the most recent post by John Nack at Adobe. He talks specifically about the TOU situation. No worries.. they wont be taking your content.. they just may need a re-wording.
