Happy Friday everyone! Let’s get right down to it.

I’m pretty psyched – my “Get In The Mix” article is posted online. If you ever wanted to take a quick tour of sound, the different applications, and a preview of some of the features of Soundbooth and Audition CS3, be sure to go and click on the link. Deep down, I am a big music and audio junkie, so I loved working on this one.

If you want to take a look at the plans for the weekend, as well as a peek into this week’s contest.. well, you know what to do.

Strobist in Orlando
Let’s start it off with the Strobist. This weekend he will be holding a class in Orlando on the 16th and 17th at the Embassy Suites Orlando. Although the class is sold out here, be sure to check out his site for more dates. A couple of us are going down on Saturday, and I even have a ticket for the Sunday show.. I may offload that one.. but I’ll let you know. Maybe. I could sure use two days of the Strobist though.

Contest Time
OK. This is the contest – All you have to do is answer two questions: 1. Do you have a digital Camera? 2. What kind of camera is it? It doesn’t matter if it’s a point and shoot, or a super SLR – I just want to know. Selfishly – I really am looking into getting a decent point and shoot and I’m still sitting on the fence about the G9 – despite how amazing it is.

What do you win? You will win a copy of the Photo Master Target – the collapsible color targeting system that never leaves my bag. Much props go to Jean-Francois O’Kane of The Studio Coach for the Target. We love you, man!

The winner of the contest will be chosen at random – all you have to do is leave us a comment on this post with the answers. Winner will be aired Monday morning, 9AM.

Good luck to everyone, and have a great weekend!

Share & Enjoy

    HI RC,

I’ve got a G9 for point and shoot and its fantastic. Being able to use a P&S and get RAW out is awsome. And for the more arty times I’ve got a D80 with a 18-200VR lens. Wouldn’t give it up for anything

    Hey RC,
My home Digital Camera is Point and Shoot HP 5.1 Megapixel that was a present for my wife a few years ago. At work, I purchased a Panasonic FZ-50 to get as close as I could afford to an SLR since my budget was $500 and that would have only gotten me a body without a lens. Thanks for the blog and the podcast.

I recently moved up from a Canon Digital Rebel XT to a 5D. It’s an amazing camera, especially when coupled with the 24-70mm and 70-200mm IS “L” lenses.

We also keep a Canon SD750 point-and-shoot for quick stuff, mainly for my wife.

I recently moved up from the Canon Digital Rebel XT to the 5D. Great camera, especially paired with the L-series lenses.

At home, we use the Canon PowerShot SD750 point-and-shoot for quick snaps.
