Happy Wednesday everyone. First off its important to note that this week’s Layers TV episode is up, and totally worth a check out over there on the right. This week, I’m talking about using Dreamweaver for manipulating IDs, Classes, and descendant selectors using CSS. Corey’s using Illustrator to create spirographs. Fun stuff indeed. You can also Subscribe to Layers TV via Itunes. We’d love that.
The Photoshop Guys on Photoshop CS4
Over on Photoshop User TV, The Photoshop Guys cover some of the differences, features, and questions regarding Photoshop CS4. You’d be surprised as to how many questions people still have before committing to get it. Thankfully Scott, Dave, and Matt are right there to help out with that process.

The Dell M6400 Covet
Now, you may notice something a little different on this episode of Layers TV. I affectionately called it my Smack o’ Lantern. It’s orange (pumpkin), ENORMOUS, and has enough tech in it to chew through the best of desktop computers. That’s The Dell M6400 Covet edition. I have to tell you.. I really love it. Now, this isn’t really a laptop. It’s considered a Mobile Workstation.. which really means that although you -could- travel with it, it’s really an occasional thing to do. At with its price tag, I’d be afraid to drop it.
Now, I’m still on a quest to find the perfect PC Laptop. IMO, this Dell M6400 Covet has the Workstation spot owned on the PC side. What I need though is a 5-6lb laptop with a lot of processing punch, and a big hard drive.. The complement to the Macbook Pro – but on the PC side. As soon as I find that one – we’re all over it.
If you have an idea of which you think is cool.. leave me a message on the contact page, over on the Facebook group, or on my Twitter Page.
Layers Magazine has its own Twitter page too! Join that one too!
Thanks for stopping in everyone. We’ll see you guys here tomorrow!

I’m considering a M6400 purchase, but wondering how noisy is seems to you. Thanks!
