Hey everyone. Be sure to check out this weeks episode of Layers TV over on the right hand side of the page. This week Corey and I take to After Effects and Premiere to work on how to place bugs on a video and create some cool Animations. Its short, sweet, and video friendly. Check it out. If you guys download the episodes on Itunes, be sure to go into Itunes and leave us a comment and rating. We’d totally appreciate that.
Look Ma, I’m on Adobe TV!
While we are on a TV note, I saw something cool today: Adobe has officially launched Adobe TV. Grouped by channels of interest, Adobe TV collects great podcasts that are out on the internet, and places them in one spot for you to check them out. Layers TV and PhotoshopUser are there, as well as a host of other cool podcasts, so be sure to give them a look over.
Tied to that, Adobe has also released Adobe Media Player 1.0, a new way to get content to your desktop. According to their press release, “An Adobe AIR application, this customizable, cross-platform media player provides exciting new ways for viewers to discover and interact with their favorite content, while offering revenue and brand-building opportunities for content publishers. Major television broadcasters and leading content publishers, including CBS, MTV Networks, Universal Music Group, PBS, Cond©Net, and Scripps Networks have worked with Adobe to provide a broad range of television programming and entertaining video content to viewers.”
For more information on the Adobe Media Player, check out their Press Release here.

Check out the jump for a cool T-Shirt tutorial, and to find out the answer to the two most pressing questions for me this morning: What is disc golf?, and What is Fireworks guru Alan Musselman doing After Hours? It’s actually pretty cool.. so make sure you see this.
Jeff Finley Makes a Tshirt in Illustrator
I think this is pretty cool – Jeff Finley takes us through a tutorial that makes Tshirts like those you see at a Hot Topic. Now.. while I am much too old to be shopping there (or at least I’ll never admit it to you), it does offer a great way to incorporate pictures and text into Illustrator to achieve cool garment status. Who knows, mixing this up with a little Cafepress action could let me start my own clothing line. Before the end of the year, I plan on designing a couple of cool t-shirts to wear on the show. Let’s see how I do.

After Hours at Adobe
Now this is a neat concept. Inside of Adobe TV, Adobe has added a channel of videos called After Hours at Adobe. This lets you catch up with the luminaries of Adobe and find out what they do After Hours. Now, first up is Fireworks Guru Alan Musselman. While many of you may know him from the Fireworks Blog, what you may not know is that he is an avid Disc Golfer. Now, truth be told, I did not know what that was either.. but I went to the Adobe TV Link for Disc Golf session, and not only did I learn about Disc Golf, but I also got to see someone playing around in Premiere. Double Bonus..
Have a great day everyone!

Adobe TV is a great way to keep up on all the various Adobe-related/ creative podcasts. This is really awesome thanks RC!
