Happy Monday everyone from a very cloudy NYC. While I’m sitting here staring out the window, wondering where to go visit first, I figured it would be a good idea to talk about a couple of cool things that have hit the interwebs in the past few days:

Matt Kloskowski’s Lightroom Killer Tips
Lightroom 2 is one of those applications that I use entirely too much. Matter of fact, it really has made my Photoshop run-ins less and less. I still love playing in Photoshop, but when I need to just get up and go, Lightroom is my prog of choice. If you haven’t checked it out – one of the best places to get your LR dose is with my buddy Matt Kloskowski over at Lightroom Killer Tips. From tutorials to presets, it’s all there and the site is a great labor of love for Mr. K. Also be sure to check out Matt’s upcoming Lightroom Live Tour.

Joe McNally Jumps In For Free
Some time ago, the flash wizard known as The Strobist made a post on his site. Very simply put (and there are nuances to this), he makes a case for working for free, and it got people talking about it on the web. Joe McNally jumps into the fray with his own take on the topic. I find him to be a masterful writer and I am an unabashed fan.. so, for me, checking out Joe’s blog post is always a must. Oh, and don’t forget, the new Nikon School DVD is out at Amazon.com. That should make a great Christmas present!
