This week’s Layers TV episode is a short one, so there is no excuse to check it out. Usually after Photoshop World, all of us here in the office are putting back together our computers, dusting off the cameras to get rid of sand, and checking all of the gear and getting up to speed. There’s a certain expectation that the 2 shows after (usually) are a little short. However, that doesn’t stop Richard Harrington from busting out something cool. Make sure you check him out.

I Love Mpix 2.0
In case you haven’t heard it from anyone else, we are absolutely over the moon with Mpix, and we are even more excited now that Mpix 2.0 is out. This is the deal. Mpix is THE place to upload your images and get all sorts of things printed. Mpix 2.0 has taken the process and made it yet even easier to use – showcasing an amazing amount of products. It came to me because I was with Scott Kelby yesterday while he was showing me a FRAMED PRINT from them. That’s right.. FRAMED. Now all you have to do is shoot it, they take care of everything – right down to the glass framing of a print. It just doesn’t get better.
I’m totally showing them off on a Layers TV episode soon. You just have to see the level of their work to appreciate it.. but in the interim, it’s cool to send them a big congrats on yet another reason why they are the kings of the hill here.
That’s it for a short post. Enjoy the brevity. It’s rare when I don’t chew your ear off

R.C.,
I was wondering if you could talk about proofing and what the best options are with partnering with Mpix as a wedding/portrait photographer. Is Zenfolio the way to go? Any advice, words of wisdom would be deeply appreciated.
i’d ;ove to see a tutorial showing how to make a virtual ‘book’ with flash.
Hey guys i looove your podcast and I used to be subscribed in iTunes. Now i moved to a zen player and i’d like to subscribe in zencast. could you pleeeease provide a rss feed for the show so we can subscribe with apps other than itunes?
Thanks a lot and keep it comin!
