Use a shadow/highlight adjustment to recover some of the detail in the image highlights.

thnx matt_i tried this out on few of my dance pics shot on black background _ omg_i cd retrieve few hairlines that were lost in abyss _ gosh tat was amazing _ im startled by my ignorance
