
Tom Hogarty over at the Lightroom Journal has posted an article about some issues that have occured when printing in Lightroom and Leopard. Make sure you read the article to be in the know about Leopard compatibility and Lightroom.
It seems like the USB Firewire speed war is beginning to rev up. Endgadget’s reporting that the new USB standard is allegedly running at 4Gbps!!! Firewire, not wanting to stay too far behind, is now announcing a 3.2Gbps push.
Finally, CNN has a story out today about the first Digital Billboards – used for showing mugshots of known criminals. In the blink of an eye, they can upload the information and have it on the billboards.. Brave new world, isn’t it? Check out the article here.

It’ll be interesting to see how this renewed USB vs 1394 battle will pan out.
It seems that USB has always had what seems to be quality control issues, what with the variations in speed over different branded cables using the same bus.
It was a sad day when Apple stopped using Firewire on it’s iPods. From that point, I began to fear the demise of the great 1394.
