It is excellent tutorial, keep up the good work…. , I’m not able to find the flakes filter in CS5.

Great tutorial. This has obviously been posted for a few years now. I don’t see the rust flakes filter in CS5. Is there a way to get it without getting CS3?

I’ve found the solution to the text turning too dark in Step 7! When I created the document, the color mode was set to CMYK. Desperate to get the blending mode to work the way it worked here, I flipped through settings, and discovered that, once the document has been changed to RGB color, it works just as shown!

I have CS4 and I can’t seem to find the photoshop texture folder to load the Rust Flakes texture. Any ideas….

I was stuck here too, but (atleast in CS4) it’s the Transform pallette where you affect the Height (H) and put 2 (it was less than 1″)… this more than doubles the height, so when you do the arc it doesn’t get all squished.
