Happy Tuesday everyone. Just wanted to point out a couple of quick things to get your Tuesday going.

Learn CS3 Right From Adobe!
This looks awesome. Adobe is holding a series of eSeminars to show off the Creative Suite 3 Design premium and how it applies to your workflows. There are a couple of dates available and the best part about eSeminars – it’s all FREE.

Overused Design Elements
Jacob Cass pulls out a cool list of overused design elements. Perhaps this will get you thinking a little bit about design and how sometimes, a trend can just be overused… repeatedly.. often… well, you get the picture.

Free Lesson by Joe McNally
Now, you are probably thinking that this lesson is going to be a long video with world famous (and one of my personal idols) Joe McNally regaling us with some wonderful day in the life stories. Well, it’s partly true. Joe -does- have that knack of taking you into one of his stories, but he ALSO works in a quick lesson on how to work the light when it isn’t available. This is a sample of what is to come in Joe’s newest book endeavor, The Hot Shoe Diaries, which I would put on your “I have to get it” list as soon as possible.

In his lesson on the blog, Joe goes through the process of making some light when there is none available. Whenever I am asked about why I admire his work so much – two words come to mind: Tenacity and Speed. Being able to watch someone work really hard to get a shot is a joy. Being able to assess a situation and think through a setup for a shoot in a really, really short amount of time inspires me to do the same. You get both in spades when you watch the man work:
