went to the expo and wasn’t really disappointed with the variety of vendors and exhibitors.
i kind of felt sorry for the lad from freeway all by himself on the fringe of the floor with only a laptop to show his product. hopefully he heeded my advice and went to the crown and anchor that evening. the thing that i heard several people complaining about was that it was hard to hear at some of the ‘classes’ due to noise from the other ‘classes’ seeping in. the adobe booth was way too small too.
it was nice to pick up a copy of kelby’s new lightroom book before it hits the streets.
one thing i was hoping would be there, but wasn’t, was the 3-d scanner that was there last year that scanned people’s heads. these heads were in turn printed out on cloth and made into pillows.
i had my head scanned last year but never got my pillow.
be nice if leica or even hasselblad have a prescence next year.
I wrote a song about CS4. It’s on http://www.designminstrel.com
