Hunger Games Logo Effect
Well the holidays are upon us which means the big movies will start rolling out as well. This week of course is the highly anticipated Hunger Games: Catching Fire. While I wasn’t super impressed with the first one I have high hopes that this will prove better. Anyway for this week’s tutorial I thought it would be fun to play around with the 3D logo effect from the movie. While the original depicts a Mocking Jay in the logo, I am using a simple eagle graphic to generate the effect so you can see how you can achieve the concept while using other images. The result is pretty cool and not as tedious as you might think. Hope you enjoy and drop any questions you might have as there is a lot of info this tut.
