Thanks, this was great!
Tom, you are a funny guy.
When you said that in due time tablets will come out and they will all support Flash I cracked up.
Dude, there is a tablet out. It’s called iPad … it sold more than 3 million units in less than 3 months. It DOES NOT support Flash. Neither does the iPhone.
Come on Adobe, when are you going to abandon Flash and start investing in html5 ??
That’s the future. Do an export from InDesign to html5 … with support for CSS3 and so on …
There are a ton of of Android-based tablets slotted for release later this year and early next year. Couple that with the impending release of FROYO from Google and the recent AIR for Android release from Adobe and iPad isn’t the only kid on the street with a sandbox.
As for HTML 5, that one is a long way off though, I understand it works like a breeze if you use Safari:-) Let’s hold off on that debate until HTML 5 actually becomes a de facto standard rather than a proposal.
Wow, since i am currently browsing on my iPad and can’t watch any of the videos here…. Boy must not be important to talk about the products on the market but focus on all the ADOBE supported stuff coming in the future. For all intents and purposes you work for adobe. have a nice day.
Hi Tom, Thank You for the tutorial. I have figured out how the buttons works in InDesgin. However, is there a way to have the buttons pasted outside the spread that we are working at. This is the example of what I am saying: http://www.alanis.com/
On that website, the buttons are separated from the spread. When the viewer flip the page, the buttons are not flipped. I hope you can help me to figure this out. Thank You
I have a question regarding the resource file. I uploaded my swf document to my server and all of the media files from the resource file. They are all placed in one file on the server, however, the media aspects of the swf aren’t working. Do I need to relink everything in InDesign and if so, how do I do that?
Hey Tom,
Glad I found this video – it wasn’t quite what I was looking to answer, I’ll have to dig deeper, but it was worth seeing the comments — and all of the advertisements for Android screaming ‘YES! Please buy us! We support Flash!”
Oh, those silly mac users — yes, Steve Jobs needs Adobe ,more than Adobe needs Steve Jobs.
