I have a stack of Maya renders I need to compile into a video, but having trouble figuring out exactly how. They are rendered as Maya .iff format, so maybe they aren't supported?

See "Supported import formats" for a list of formats that you can import. IFF is on that list.
I'm not sure exactly what problem you're having, so I don't know where to start in helping you. I recommend that you start by reading the sections in After Effects Help about importing and using files from 3D applications.

Ok, Iv got it compiled as targas, 1920 x 1020. Now when I try to export as a .mov I get an out of memory error.( I have 4 gigs on the machine) I tried both AVI and MPEG 4, and while it will export, it looks worse than a youtube clip. What I need to do is export it as a full quality, full screen video.
