Hey everyone.. .back from an extended trip with a couple of interesting nuggets here.

First off, I have to send out a quick note of congratulations. I was checking out Joe McNally’s blog when I saw some really cool news… I’m not going to give it away, but I’ll tell you this much – it got my attention when he said, “I can tell you this, though. They are scrambling on the second run..” If you want to check it out, you’re going to have to check out the site by clicking on the link here.

A great post was placed on Corban Baxter’s blog about Flash and its complexities. It made me think about how much I’ve seen Flash distance itself from sections of the Flash community..

I also have a really cool site to share with you for Plugins in Photoshop and Flash.

Flash and its Frustrations
Now, this is just IMO, but I’ve felt for a long time that more and more users are being left on the table with newer versions of Flash. While it is really an amazing tool and well worth the learning, I come across many individuals who find that even the basics sometime require a great deal of learning – the curve too steep for one to adjust.

It was a great relief to see the blog of Corban Baxter talking about the same thing in an open letter to Adobe. This got the attention of Adobe and one of their Evangelists, Lee Brimelow, who wrote a little bit about the future of the tool – check out his responses here.

While we are all up in the Flash Blog – you have to check it out: Lee’s setup a cool extension in Flash that lets you set events for movie clips that you have on the stage in Flash. For information on how to get the plugin, click on the Event Generator link here.

Finally – from the fountain of information that is Dave Ziser – a site that gives us a listing of thousands of plugins for Photoshop. All in one place – just click on the link

That’s it for today, everyone. See you guys back here tomorrow!

Share & Enjoy
