I have, however missed several features including this one (till now). I really appreciate the concise info, it is still relevent with CS5, and I don't know why there are not more comments since 2009 as this appeared high in the search results (Extended Focus Photoshop Tutorial). Just the technique I needed for a 2-photo reflection comp (car hood and the reflected Fall color leaves). Considered an intermediate user.
