Happy Monday everyone. Here’s a really cool video that Dave Cross turned me onto. This video shows a new piece of technology called Diffusion Curves – which take the concept of the Bezier Curve and tweak it a bit to get some amazing results. Now, although this is not an Illustrator piece of functionality, and it’s not yet decided whether any application will use this right now (it’s a paper after all), it does offer a great view into the crystal ball to see the potential of these applications. Contest Time
So. Here we are – contest time. I’m feeling a little bit Photo related, so let’s do that. To the winner of the contest this week, I am going to give away a copy Scott Kelby’s Digital Photography Books, Volumes 1 and 2 – as well as a copy of Scott’s newest DVD Adobe Photoshop CS3 for Digital Photographers.

OK. So in the Product Reviews, we have a product from a company called Griffin. What is the name of the product? Go to the Contact Page, and fill out your name, email address and the contest answer. The contest will end Thursday 5PM and we will announce a winner Friday morning.

That’s it for today everyone. Have a wonderful week!

Share & Enjoy

I really hope the folks at Adobe perked up their ears with that Diffusion Curves paper. That could be the biggest evolution of vector graphics in a long time.
