What a great tutorial (especially about the trace image, thank you for that), I just wish my Dreamweaver hadn't suddenly greyed out my 'insert layer' and 'insert table' tools. Do you have any idea what I might have done to incur this wrath? I'm lost without them.

Thanks

Loved this great presentation.
THE BIG QUESTION: How do you anchor layers so that they don't move on different browser windows and computers?
My life would be so much better if I could find the answer to this mystery.
I'm still a neophyte.
Thanks

Hi and thank you for sharing this great information.
I have a page that has a table that is split
into many different amounts of rows and columns.

My problem that I am having is that I need to insert
a layer that is ever expanding, yet will not effect the properties of the column that I have it inside of, when this layer is expanded with more and more content.

If I try to add a layer inside of one of the columns, they will move around on the screen as the page is viewed in different browsers and different screen sizes.
A good way for me to make this happen at will is to simply open my css sidebar in dreamweaver8.
This makes the table field smaller and thus the stationary layers are displayed in the middle of the page, instead of the sidebar table column that I originally had them in.

Is there any way to make that layer stick inside of that table column, no matter what the viewer screen size is ???

Thank you so much for your input.
