thanks dude! I did that once in my CS4 install and forgot where it was. Fortunately, it’s in the same place for CS5 (View / Show / Pixel Grid, you guessed right for the english version).

Found it … don’t look in the Prefs, look here …

Main menu:
German: “Ansicht” / “Einblenden” / “Pixelraster”
English (guessing): “View” / “Show” / “Pixel grid” (?)

How? It’s 99% useless. If I work pixelperfect, I know what I’m doing and where the pixels are. Sorry, I thik it is just annoying, too.

Beginners, ok. Professionals (day by day), NO!

I really find I enjoy having the pixel grid, it tends to help me keep track of what I am doing when zoomed in that far and keeps me from going off track per say when I can’t see the full picture
