thsanks for the great article. One question, though. Why are you using the HSL – Saturation and not the Basic Saturation setting?

I intend to try this tonight, but I respectfully disagree with “Allaround Art” and the statement that a great black and white image needs no additional photoshop work”. The great B&W masters used a variety of darkroom techniques (dodging, burning, etc.) to get a desired effect, and I consider this process in Lightroom’s Develop module to be the digital equivalent of their old process.
