A big hello to everyone from New York! Getting ready for the day out here in Long Island, but had a couple of good things out there, let’s go ahead and check them out:
Colorblind Accessibility in Photoshop CS4
John Nack has an interview with Bryan Hughes on Color Blind Accessibility in Photoshop CS4. According to Bryan O’Neil Hughes:
“Adobe has collaborated with the University of Tokyo and the Industrial Research Institute of Ishikawa to employ proofing abilities into Photoshop CS4 (and Illustrator CS4) that leverage CUDO (Color Universal Design Organization) technology for simulation of constrained color gamuts. These powers are baked into the profiles used by the Adobe Color Engine.”

Ring Flash Comparisons from John Ricard
The Strobist just posted an AWESOME video from NYC based photographer John Ricard on the differences between a Profoto Ring Flash and a Ray Flash. Not only does he do a good job of explaining the two, his model also goes over a couple of tips on how to position yourself for the flash.

Design a Photo Book Online with AJ Wood
AJ Wood goes through the process of designing a photo book online using InDesign. This is a great way to take those photo collections and put them to a book. maybe from there you can send them to places like Blurb and have them printed. Very cool AJ!

Synthetic Media in Premiere by Franklin McMahon
Franklin McMahon goes through the process of creating synthetic media textures in Premiere. You know, it surprises me sometimes how much built in stuff there is inside of Adobe applications to help your production. Franklin also goes through a couple of productivity shortcuts as well, which I am pumped about. Click on the link below to get to the video:
