After Effects 7.0 Released

(MacWorld)  Adobe’s $3.4 billion purchase of Macromedia is starting to have an impact on the software giant’s product line. The latest version of After Effects, unveiled by Adobe tuesday, includes Flash Video export among its new features. “As we look at the longer term, some of the trends we see are for rich media,” said Jim Guerard, vice president of product management, Web and video solutions, for Adobe. “Over the last 12 to 18 months we’ve seen an explosion in growth-rich media instead of static media.” Read more
