I have a background question...I am trying to build a site where there is a shadow to the left and right of the page so it stands out. I am using div tags- with a wrapper to center the site and then all my content in there. What is the best way to create this effect? I am pretty new to this so I am not sure...I tried using a left and right side panel with floats inside the wrapper but that didn't work. Then thought maybe i need to create a #bgShadow and then put the wrapper and all it's contents in there but that didn't sound right to me either...any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

This seems like a great tutorial, but I don't have any experience with CSS and div tags and I'm a bit lost. This might be a dumb question but here it goes, how is the Dreamweaver file set up to start? Are the elements placed in the window without any container like a table, and then changed later with CSS?
I'm having trouble getting started with CSS and div tags. Are there any good resources on the web that I can read that would give me an introduction and tutorials? Anything will help.

Thank you in advance for your help

RC great tutorial. I have a slightly different question based on the pano picture you are holding on Scott's blog. He has mentioned the NY skyline pano you have taken. Can you share the setup and setting of camera and the location (little more exact then Hoboken, NJ)?

Thank you,

The tutorials on Layers TV site are great and they are full of lot of good information laid out and explained in detail.

I do have another question for RC. I saw the pano held by you and Scott on his blog and his mention of the NY skyline pano you have taken. Is there anyway you can share how you took the pano (may be the camera setup and setting) and the place where you took it from.

Thank you very much in advance.

Good fundamentals on CSS Backgrounds. The more you play with them, the more complex you can get with the "layering".
