NEWS UPDATE::
Hey guys.. thought this would be a good thing to interrupt you with. onOne software announced that they have acquired technology to do liquid resizing, based on the SIGGRAPH presentation that made waves through YouTube not too long ago.(if you haven’t seen the presentation, you have to .. it really is very compelling.. and a hint of how we will be working with images in the future…)

I think this is going to be a GREAT thing for onOne… can’t wait to play with it. Click here for the official Press Release

John Nack has a cool posting on his blog about a technology called Videotrace that can create 3D from video layers. It’s definitely something to check out – there’s a whole presentation on it at their site.

Another interesting update that has been made recently. Lee Brimelow – Master of all things Flash and AIR has recently updated his GotoandLearn website, giving you great tutorials on Flash. It had been a bit since I visited, but now I’m excited to go over the kinds of things he’s talking about.

Lastly.. on a fun note: one of our faithful readers, Doug Zeliff pointed out a Christmas present which I thought was kinda cool. The Nuns Having Fun 2008 Calendar , which is billed as “…Revealing a sweet, lighthearted, unexpected side of convent life, NUNS HAVING FUN returns with a year of Sisters playing, goofing, laughing and letting loose.” It’s older photography, but I love the fact that it’s so lighthearted.

That’s it for me everyone. Have a great weekend!

    I couldn’t agree more about Lee’s site being a great Flash resource. It helped me build a simple MP#3 player that I used with some PSAs for a few sites. Lastly, I can’t believe you used that Nuns Having Fun Calendar. My wife and son were rolling on the floor when I opened it up. I thought it was a Far Side Calendar. Boy was I wrong.
